Andy Kubert was born on February 27, 1962, the third
member (after father Joe and elder brother Adam) of one of the most famous
comics-artist families. While Kubert started at DC Comics, drawing Adam Strange
and the Batman vs. Predator crossover, he is probably best known for his work
at Marvel Comics, specifically the company's X-Men titles. One of his most
popular pieces is in Flashpoint.

When asked about how he would be able to draw speed in the comic Kubert responded, “not only through the line art itself, but you can do so much with computer effects now too. That will be all under my direction, and whoever does the coloring on it will add a lot to it. There are so many different avenues that you can take with it now beyond the black and white line art.”
This poster of The Flash derives from the graphic
novel Flashpoint. This picture shows the flash running next to his nemesis
Zoom. This print was a promotional piece for the comic. The Flash is the
quickest super hero around and could only be bested by Superman (maybe). I
involved The Flash because his power is different from the others, yet still
important to the comic book universe. His super speed puts him in his own
category of super hero and with his high intellect he becomes a bigger threat
to any enemy trying to hatch a plan.
